CSM Valerie F. Greene
Command Sergeant Major Valerie F. Greene is a native of Tampa, Florida. She entered the Army as a Tactical Wire Operator Specialist on 31 March 1983. She completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Command Sergeant Major Greene has served in various positions. Positions she held includes Squad leader, Operations Sergeant, Training NCO, Battalion Communications Chief, Platoon Sergeant, Brigade Communication Chief, First Sergeant, S-3 Sergeant Major, G6 Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major.
Her overseas assignments in the Federal Republic of Germany includes: D Company, 17th Signal Battalion, Kitzingen, GE; 130th Engineer Brigade, Hanau GE; Delta Company, 204th Military Intelligence Battalion, Augsburg GE; Her assignments in the Republic of Korea have includes: 501st CORPS Support Group, Camp Red Cloud; 34th Area Support Group, Yongsan; 227th Maintenance Battalion, Yongsan; 702nd Main Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey; C Company, 122nd Signal Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey, and the 728th Military Police Battalion, Taegu. Her stateside assignments includes: 1st Medical Brigade, FT Hood, Texas; HSC 324th Aviation Battalion, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia; E Company 801st Maintenance Battalion, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and C Company 24th Signal Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia; she served as the S-3 Sergeant Major of the 16th Signal Battalion, Fort Hood Texas; 25th ID, G6 Sergeant Major and She is currently serving as the 25th DSTB Command Sergeant Major.
Command Sergeant Major Greene attended and completed Primary Development Course in Bad Tolez, Germany; she is a graduate of Advanced and Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, the COMSEC Custodian Course, the Master Fitness Course and the First Sergeant Course. She is a graduate of class 54 United States Army Sergeant Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas.
She has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in General Education from the University of Maryland.
