Colonel Douglas S. Mulbury
Colonel Douglas S. Mulbury serves as the Chief of Staff, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He joins the Tropic Lightning Division having served two years as the Garrison Commander, U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii.
Colonel Mulbury graduated from Cornell University in 1985 and was commissioned into the Infantry. His troop assignments include the 1st Infantry Division, two tours with the 10th Mountain Division, and three tours with the 25th Infantry Division.
Colonel Mulbury was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment as the Executive Officer, and 3rd Brigade, 25th ID as the Operations Officer and Brigade Executive Officer from June 1999-June 2002. From 2003-2005, ColonelMulbury commanded 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment and deployed Task Force 1-32 to Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 2005-2006, Colonel Mulbury served as the 10th Mountain Division's Chief of Transformation and as the Chief of Staff, Rear. From June 2008-February 2010, Colonel Mulbury served as the G3 of the 25th ID and the G3 of Multi-National Division North during Operation Iraqi Freedom rotation 09-11. Colonel Mulbury's other assignments include Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership at the United States Military Academy 1995-1998; Professor of Military Science, Syracuse University 2002-2003; Chief of Tactics, United States Army Infantry School 2006-2007.
Colonel Mulbury is a graduate of the Command & General Staff College and the United States Army War College. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, a Master of Science from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts from the University of Hartford, and a Master of Science from the United States Army War College. He is married with two children.
