LTC Patrick A. Disney
Lieutenant Colonel Patrick A. Disney is a native of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Transportation Corps upon his graduation from Elmira College in 1998. After graduating from the Transportation Officer Basic Course, he was assigned to the 80th Ordnance Battalion, 497th Transportation Company, Fort Lewis, WA serving as a Light Truck Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer. He later served as the Battalion S1 / Adjutant in the 80th Ordnance Battalion.
After graduating from the Combined Captains Career Course and Combined Arms Service Staff School in 2002, LTC Disney was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division at Camps Casey, Nimble and Red Cloud. His first assignment in Korea was as the Deputy Support Operations Officer in the 2ID DISCOM, followed by Commander, Bravo Company, 702nd Main Support Battalion and finally as the Aide-De-Camp to the Commanding General, 2ID.
Upon returning from his overseas assignment in 2005, LTC Disney served on a Military Transition Team for the 5th Battalion, 4th Brigade, 6th Division (Iraqi Army) at Forward Operating Base Falcon, Dora, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon returning from deployment, he served as the Chief of the Transportation Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Eustis, Virginia until 2008. He completed his key development assignments as the Brigade S-3 in the 43rd Sustainment Brigade at Fort Carson, Colorado and as the Executive Officer for the 704th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at FOB Fenty, Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
LTC Disney completed Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas in 2011. LTC Disney served as the Assignment Officer for Transportation Corps Majors at Human Resources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky thru 2013. Most recently, he served as the Support Operations Mobility Chief for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command (Forward) in Kabul, Afghanistan.
LTC Disney holds a Bachelorís degree in Sports Science from Elmira College in Elmira New York and a Masterís Degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal, 4th Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal, 3rd Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, NATO Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and four overseas service ribbons. He has also earned the Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge and the Combat Action Badge.
